In samples of fermented milk products "Shubat" from Almaty producers LLP "DAULET-BEKET", an excess of mold content was found to be 9.6 times more than the norm, that is, 480 CFU / g (colony forming units per 1 gram), with a normalized indicator of not more than 50 CFU /G.
The samples were purchased by the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the CSEC of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for WKO in a supermarket in Uralsk as part of a test purchase of consumer goods.
It should be noted that the excess of mold in the drink can cause allergic reactions, diarrhea, and in rare cases, mycosis may develop.

Shubat is a fermented milk drink made from camel milk. Compared to koumiss, it has a higher fat content (up to 8%). This is a perishable product that becomes unusable within 5 days after preparation. It is believed that shubat contains 3 times more vitamins C, D than cow's milk. It is useful for inflammation of the liver, diabetes, asthma, tuberculosis, psoriasis.
