The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been allocated funds from the reserve of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conduct PCR tests to detect coronavirus infection. The allocated funds within the reserve of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan are designed for 1,200,000 laboratory tests. 1,020,000 laboratory tests to detect COVID-19 using the PCR method will be carried out at the RSE at the National Center of Expertise of the KKBTU Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and another 180,000 studies are determined to be carried out at the RSE at the RPE "National Center of Public Health" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

In June, 225,600 tests were delivered. In addition, all procurement procedures have been completed and an agreement has been concluded with the supplier for the supply of 554,000 tests. According to the agreement, delivery is planned within 1-2 weeks,” noted the Committee for Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the National Center of Experts has subcontracted public and private laboratories in order to widely cover citizens with tests. As of August 2, 2020, the balance of tests in the republic is 239,646 units, which will cover the need for the next two weeks. As previously reported, test systems for 1.2 million tests for coronavirus are expected to be delivered to the Republic of Kazakhstan in August.
